Mongol Rally 2015

Days 3 & 4 : What would Papu do?

Before leaving, we had agreed that we wanted to spend more time in Asia and less in Europe – so days 3 and 4 were a big blur of motorways, small motorway pit-stops and caffeine. In these two days, we covered:

Czech, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and finally Turkey.

Key highlights included picking up random energy drinks in the Czech republic; note the Mike Tyson branded one!

Convoying with the Italians (sorry guys, but this picture is priceless!)

A quick repair to our Thermostat – which, thanks to our sponsors BluePrint (http://www.blueprint-adl.com/) we had a spare one of! What perfect preparation!

Some amazing sunsets (and LOTS of sunflowers… Elena kept insisting that they were sad sunflowers as they were not looking at the sunset…)

Some very dodgy and rundown vignette stations…

And finally, but maybe most importantly as this has become our new team motto… an encounter with a team that had this written on their door. I now want the t-shirt that says “What would Papu do?”. Thanks guys, you have been an inspiration to our team, and kept up going when things went rough!
